Get Involved

Get Involved:
Connecting the community with nature is one of the goals of the Valley Forge Audubon Society. But there are several ways that the community can support the Valley Forge Audubon Society in its goals.

Become a Member:
The Valley Forge Audubon Society welcomes new members!
The best way that you can support the Valley Forge Audubon Society is by becoming a member. A membership in the Valley Forge Audubon Society includes membership to the John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove and National Audubon Society.
Benefits consist of free admission to the museum at Mill Grove, reduced admission to special events, a discount at the museum gift shop and bi-monthly issues of “Audubon” magazine. If you’re interested in becoming a member, click here for a printable PDF of the membership application.

Volunteer:
If you would like to more actively support our efforts, volunteer. Both the Valley Forge Audubon Society and the John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove need volunteers to help with special events, maintain the trails and grounds, and perform other duties. If you’re interested in becoming a volunteer please e-mail Carrie Barron the John James Audubon Center’s Education and Program Coordinator.

Donate:
If the Valley Forge Audubon Society has played an important part in your life, consider making a gift to the Valley Forge Audubon Society in your will or trust. Large estates can take advantage of charitable remainder or lead trusts to obtain significant income and estate tax savings.
Donations can also be made to the Valley Forge Audubon Society to support our conservation efforts. Please send your check or money order to the Valley Forge Audubon Society, 1201 Pawlings Road, Audubon, PA 19403.
If you’d like more information, contact the Valley Forge Audubon Society and we can assist you with the process. We can also put you in contact with conservation trusts if you have land that you would like to see preserved for future generations.
