DIRECTIONS: Use your GPS or call leader for directions. Park entrance is on south side of Pine Road opposite Fox Chase Farm. There’s a nice food cart on the Pine Road entrance to the park and picnic tables close by for after hike lunch.

10:00 am: Hike @ Waterloo Mills Preserve
September 5, 2019 –
Meet & park at Eastown Township lot (Hilltop House), at the corner of Beaumont & Newtown Rds. in Berwyn, Chester Co. PA. There is a water fountain and toilets at the meeting spot. We will carpool a short distance to the Waterloo Mills entrance on Waterloo Rd. If it has rained the day before, there will be some squishy spots to negotiate. Shady, but two open meadows and stream crossings (by 2 bridges and level stepping stones).
Bring water and your lunch for after the hike. There is a picnic area on the Township grounds. The leaders will bring desert and iced tea for all hikers. Make sure to let us know you are coming, please!

A leisurely walk through a mostly wooded area of the campus, along a pond with geese and ducks. Miles depends on number of loops.
DIRECTIONS: From the intersection of Routes 476 (Blue Route) and Route 30 (Lancaster Ave.) turn east onto Lancaster Ave. and drive about 3 miles to Haverford. Turn right into the stone gated entrance of Haverford College and follow the signs to the first visitor parking lot (on your left) after the stop sign. Park in the back of the lot at the NE corner, near where the trail is. Administrative building with facilities faces the parking lot. Bring water and lunch or alternatively have lunch in one of the

Woodland hike through the Wissahickon Valley, visiting lovers leap, Kelpius cave and Rittenhouse town.
DIRECTIONS: 900 Magdalena Street, Philadelphia. From Henry Ave, Philadelphia, go north at Walnut Lane (light). Next light is Magdalena Street. Turn left and left again into Public Golf Club Parking lot. Facilities at golf club house. Definitely bring lunch and water. We will briefly take a break at Rittenhouse town.

10:00 am: Hike @ A Tredyffrin Township Trail Sampler
October 3, 2019 –
We will walk in several small preserves in Tredyffrin Twp., car- pooling between them. Meet at the Leader’s house. Bring lunch and water. Hot drinks and dessert will be provided after hike.
Directions: From 202 Southbound: Stay to the right and take the 252 South Exit to Paoli. (This is past the 252 North-Devon Exit by Gateway Shopping Center.) Follow Route 252 South. At the 4 th traffic light, turn left onto Friendship Drive (Friendship Drive on left, Central Avenue on right). Make first right onto Hilltop Rd. Go to top of the hill, #373 is on the right (blue mailbox). OR: From 202 Northbound: Take the exit for Swedesford Rd to Route 252 South. (This is past the Route 29-Great Valley exits.) Turn right off the exit ramp, then right again at traffic light. You will be on Route 252 South. At the next light, turn left onto Friendship Drive. Follow as above.
