Accessible Birding Saturdays: Wilson Farm Park
Fall birding can be amazing, and our outing to this park last November was so good that we are doing it again this year. In 2021 during our approximately 2 hours and 1+ mile on this park’s accessible paved path we saw or heard 35 different species, including hermit thrush, a pair of Cooper’s hawks, ruby and golden-crowned kinglets, purple finches, and even a green heron that didn’t know it should have already migrated! Who knows what we’ll find this year? It’s a team sport, and a treasure hunt. Hope you’ll join us.
New birders are very welcome, as are children if accompanied by an adult. Bring binoculars if you have them. Accessible restroom facilities are on site.
