Accessible Birding Thursdays: Harriet Wetherill Park

Note: This Plymouth Township Park has two entrances. Be sure to use the Butler Pike Entrance.

During the fall migration, evenings can be a great time for finding birds that are migrating in, those that are getting ready to leave and fly all night, or others just settling in for the night. We will hunt for them all in the stream area, butterfly garden, field and woodland edge of this surprisingly restful park. Our 1+ miles exploration usually takes 1-2 hours of easy travel, with happy surprises such as swallows, warblers, hawks, great blue herons, woodpeckers and more.

Birders of all ability levels are very welcome to join us, as are children if accompanied by an adult. Bring binoculars if you have them. There are accessible restroom facilities on site.
