Accessible Birding Thursdays: Wilson Farm Park

Note:  THIS PARK HAS MULTIPLE ENTRANCES AND PARKING LOTS, SO TO FIND US EASILY:  Take Chesterbrook Blvd. to Lee Road. The park main entrance is at the end of Lee Road. As you come in the main entrance, turn left and follow the drive all the way down to the end, to the All Abilities Playground Area parking lot, where we will meet at 6 pm.

This Thursday outing kicks off a Fall Thursday series (one a month) at various accessible area parks.  Join us as we start tracking which birds stay, which are going, and which are already gone!  In August, tree swallows are readying to migrate and/or leaving, goldfinches are still with nests and fledglings, and song sparrows keep singing as they stay year-round.  Evening can be a great time to catch them in all these late summer and/or early migration activities.  We will hunt for them all and more as we travel the 1+ mile easily-navigated paved path by pond, through woods, and along fields.

All ages and abilities are very welcome to join us (children must be accompanied by an adult).  Bring binoculars if you have them.  Accessible restroom facilities are on site.
