Adventures in Birding: Beginning Birding for Kids and Adults
Are you or your little ones interested in birds and STEM? Are you looking for another excuse to get outside this summer?
Join us on July 10th at 6:00pm for a one-hour program with the Valley Forge Audubon Society. We will be talking about how to get started with birding and will practice identifying local birds by sight through a fun, interactive activity. Birding is a great way to get outside while practicing key STEM skills such as critical thinking and the scientific method. This event is a great way to get started with birding and learn more about birds that are native to this area.
While the program is tailored towards 1st-3rd graders and their families, new birders of any age are welcome! Participants will receive their own “Birding Starter Kit”, one per family. This can be just the beginning of birding fun!
