Barn Owl Banding (CANCELED)

The planned barn owl banding at Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area scheduled for this Thursday, July 24th, has been cancelled.

Only one nestling from the clutch has survived to banding age, and the biologists from the Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) have decided to forgo banding the remaining barn owl chick.

In partnership with PGC, we will continue to offer educational raptor and songbird banding programs to the public when possible.
