Birding at Brightside Farm Park
Join leader Rick Keyser for a morning bird walk through scenic and peaceful Brightside Farm Park in Charlestown Township, one of Chester County’s newest birding hotspots.
Most of this field trip will follow a paved multi-use loop trail, which is accessible to wheelchairs and strollers. There is very little grade to the terrain at the park. The distance covered will be approximately 1 mile. All experience levels, including beginners, and all ages, including children (who must be accompanied by an adult), are encouraged to participate.
Don’t forget to bring binoculars if you have them. There is little shade so sun protection is recommended. There are no bathrooms on site.
Masks are not required for this outdoor program, although VFAS encourages all participants to be fully vaccinated and asymptomatic to attend.
