Birding at Wilson Farm Park: Tracking Fall Changes

This is an accessible birding outing in celebration of Birdability Week.

Note:  THIS PARK HAS MULTIPLE ENTRANCES AND PARKING LOTS, SO TO FIND US EASILY: Take Chesterbrook Blvd. to Lee Road (GPS Address 500 Le Rd, Chesterbrook). The park main entrance is at the end of Lee Road. As you come in the main entrance, turn left and follow the drive all the way down to the end, to the All Abilities Playground Area.  We will meet right there at the parking lot, which included van-accessible parking spaces, at 9 am.

The woods, fields, and pond in this park – all of which can be viewed from the paved trail – continue to offer wonderful birding surprises throughout the fall, as we track the changes in weather, forage, foliage, and migration. We’ve even had great birding right by the parking lot! Come join us for a relaxed, inclusive, guided birding outing on this paved 1+mile fully accessible trail in celebration of Birdability Week. Nature is for everyone and everybody!

New birders are always welcome. Children also are very welcome if accompanied by an adult. Bring binoculars if you have them. Accessible public restrooms are on site.

Masks are not required for this outdoor program, although VFAS encourages all participants to be fully vaccinated and asymptomatic to attend.
