Birding for Beginners at Goddard Park

Come enjoy some easy birding at Goddard Park, located in southern Chester County.  Join VFAS volunteer guides Lynn and Stephanie and members of the YMCA’s ForeverWell 55+ community for our second free Birding for Beginners outing at this little-known yet terrific birding location.

Our fun, slow exploration will cover about 1 mile on the paved loop past woods, field and pond.  We will be looking again for a variety of autumn favorites such as the warblers, gorgeous great blue heron, and belted kingfisher we saw last year.

While this trip is targeted at those new to birding, all experience levels and age groups are welcome to join us.  We will meet at the main parking lot by the playground and restrooms.  Bring binoculars if you have them.

This program is co-sponsored by Valley Forge Audubon Society (valleyforgeaudubon.org) and the Jennersville YMCA (www.ymcagbw.org <http://www.ymcagbw.org> ).
