Birding for Beginners at Wilson Farm Park
New to bird watching? Come learn about the birds that live here as well as those that are just migrating through our area with experienced birders from the Valley Forge Audubon Society as guides. Our approximately 1 mile route in this beautiful park in Chesterbrook is on wide, mostly flat and paved trails, with woods, field and water areas for viewing. Geared toward new or never-before birders, the outing should last 1-2 hours, and is accessible for those with mobility challenges.
Masks will be required to be worn by all participants. Wear clothing appropriate for the weather and bring binoculars if you have them. Bug spray and hat are recommended. Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
To find us easily: take Chesterbrook Blvd. to Lee Road. The park main entrance is at the end of Lee Road. As you come in the main entrance, turn left and follow the drive all the way down to the end, to the All Abilities Playground Area. We will meet right there at the parking lot at 8:15 am. See you then!
