Brightside Farm Park Bird Walk

On Sunday, April 25, 2021, from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, representatives of the Valley Forge Audubon Society will lead a bird walk at Brightside Farm Park in Charlestown Township.

This outing is free and open to the public. While geared to the beginner, all experience levels are welcome.  Part of the walk will follow the paved multi-use loop trail in the Park though some areas of interest are off the multi-use trail and will not be accessible to wheelchairs or strollers.  The loop trail is just less than 1 mile in length though depending on bird cooperation, the distance we cover may be less or slightly more than 1 mile. There is very little grade to the terrain at the Park.

Masks are required for all participants, and shoes appropriate for walking on and off the paved path are advisable. This tour will happen rain or shine, so please dress appropriately and don’t forget to bring binoculars if you have them.  Children are very welcome to attend if accompanied by an adult.
