Brrr! Winter Birding at Binky Lee Preserve

The warm weather has left and with it many of our summer resident birds.  But our year-round feathered friends are still around and have been joined by a number of winter-only visitors.  Come join us for a brisk morning outing in the fields and woods of Binky Lee Preserve to see what species we can find while we talk about some adaptations that help birds survive the winter.

New birders are always welcome at VFAS programs. Children are also always welcome if accompanied by an adult. This outing will be on natural surface trails that may be uneven and muddy, and there will be some hills with short steep sections.  Bring binoculars if you have them and dress warmly!  Restrooms are on site.

Masks are not required for this outdoor program, although VFAS encourages all participants to be fully vaccinated and asymptomatic to attend.
