Chester County Parks Birding Series: #1 – Warwick County Park
The Chester County Parks system has seven wonderful parks which provide excellent birdwatching opportunities. Join us as we explore all seven of the parks, one per month, in 2024.
Our 2024 series begins at Warwick County Park in northern Chester County. With meadows, wetlands, forest, and a section of the beautiful French Creek, birds abound! Spring migration will be underway and it’s a wonderful time to get out and observe what birds are moving into and through our area as well as well as those that are here year-round. Please join us.
This field trip will cover 1-2 miles on mainly flat (and probably muddy) earthen trails and will last approximately 2-3 hours, but you may leave at any time. Bring binoculars if you have them. Beginners and children (accompanied by an adult) are always welcome at Valley Forge Audubon Society events. We will meet at the parking lot below the park office. Modern restrooms are available on site.
