‘Early Birding’ at Ridley Creek State Park

How to find us: Enter the park from Gradyville Road. Once in the park, follow the signs to the park office, which is Hunting Hill Mansion, and meet in the upper parking lot.  If using GPS, enter these coordinates to take you directly to the meeting location: +39.95076, -75.45191

If you are a “morning person” (or even if you are not!) get a fun start to the day with Ridley Creek Park’s naturalist on an early morning hike to search for spring migrants on the back trails of this expansive park.

Those new to birding and families with children are welcome to join us as we search the woods, fields, and sky of this 2606-acre park in Delaware County for our avian friends.  Some of the trails are uneven and rocky and may be muddy, so good footwear is important.  Bring binoculars if you have them; a field guide may also be helpful to bring if you have one.

This program will last approximately 2 hours, and registration is not required.  Follow the signs to the Mansion (Park Office) after you enter the park; we will meet at the Mansion’s upper parking lot.

Portable restrooms are available on site.
