Early Morning Birding at Ridley Creek State Park

The chorus of birds starts early on May mornings.  If you are a “morning person” (or even if you are not!) get an early start to the day with DCNR Park Naturalist Gary Stolz on a field trip to search for spring migrants on Ridley Creek SP’s back trails.

Beginners and families are welcome to join in the search for our avian friends in the woods, fields, and sky of this 2606-acre park in Delaware County.  Meet at the mansion upper parking lot and wear good walking shoes. Follow the signs to the mansion (Park office) after you enter the park.  Some of the trails are uneven and rocky and may be muddy.  Bring binoculars if you have them; a field guide may also be helpful to bring if you have one.

This program will last approximately 2 hours, and registration is not required.  There are portable restrooms on site at the mansion parking lot.
