Evening Brewbirding: Hunsberger Woods and Troubles End Brewing
Our first birding trip to Hunsberger Woods in Collegeville on May 1 was such a success we are going to do it again – this time for an evening outing. Please join leaders Patty and John Werth for an approximately 90-minute-long birding trip at Hunsberger Woods, after which they will head to the nearby Troubles End Brewing, a scant 1.5 miles away, for the “brew” part of Brewbirding and dinner.
Anyone with an interest in birds, birding, and/or brews is welcome to join in. No prior experience with any of the three is necessary! The birding trip will cover a little over a mile with a short steep section on pavement but the remainder on natural surface trails with rolling terrain. There will be a shallow creek crossing where our feet may get wet if it has rained recently, so good boots are highly recommended. Bring binoculars if you have them.
Please note there is no restroom on site at the park, but of course restrooms are available at Troubles End Brewing.
