Exploring the Waterloo Mills Preserve

Valley Forge Audubon Society is thrilled to be offering a birding field trip at the Waterloo Mills Preserve.  This historic 170-acre property straddles the border between Delaware and Chester Counties and is open only to members of the Brandywine Conservancy & Museum of Art or by special permission.  Please join VFAS trip leader Sarah Boucas-Neto and Brandywine Conservancy’s Natural Resource Manager Kevin Fryberger on an exploration of the birds at this unique property.

Our outing will be on earthen trails and will last approximately 2-3 hours.  Nature explorers and birders of all ages and skill levels are welcome, including children who are accompanied by an adult.  Please bring binoculars if you have them.  More information about the location can be found at this site:  The Waterloo Mills Preserve | Brandywine Conservancy and Museum of Art.
