Fall Birding at Fischer’s Park

Fischer’s Park in Lansdale continues to delight new and long-time birders alike, as the varied habitat of creek, woods, and field attracts many different bird species.  Come join local Towamencin resident Andrew Dolan and other Valley Forge Audubon Society guides as we search for migrants such as magnolia, chestnut-sided, and black-throated green warblers, creek-side favorites such as green herons and belted kingfishers, and of course any other year-round or seasonal feathered friends that show up!

Our easy route of 1+ mile is a mix of mostly paved and some well-maintained natural paths, with occasional slight inclines, and we usually take about 2 hours to explore.

All abilities and ages are welcome, including children if accompanied by an adult. Bring binoculars if you have them.

There are accessible restroom facilities on site.
