Fall Birds at the John James Audubon Center
Fall is sparrow season. During this outing we’ll learn how to identify some common sparrows that we might see while we are birding around the fields. We’ll also be looking for ducks along the river, and sapsuckers, kinglets, and year-round resident birds as we walk through the woods on both paved and unpaved trails.
Beginners and children accompanied by an adult are welcome! The leaders will have extra binoculars to borrow. Restrooms are available on site. We’ll meet in the main parking lot by the museum.
