Fall Follow-Up: Birding at Wilson Farm Park

Note:  THIS PARK HAS MULTIPLE ENTRANCES AND PARKING LOTS, SO TO FIND US EASILY: Take Chesterbrook Blvd. to Lee Road. The park’s main entrance is at the end of Lee Road. As you come in the main entrance, turn left and follow the drive all the way down to the end, to the All Abilities Playground parking area.

We followed them in the spring, now let’s “follow the birds around” the park to see if they stay, leave, or are migrating through for the fall season. The woods, field, and pond of this park offer wonderful birding opportunities, and the 1+mile trail is easy and paved.

New birders are always welcome!  Children are also very welcome if accompanied by an adult. Bring binoculars if you have them. There are public restrooms on site.

Masks are not required for this outdoor program, although VFAS encourages all participants to be fully vaccinated and asymptomatic to attend.
