Fall Migration at McKaig Nature Education Center

The McKaig Nature Education Center is a 91.3 acre natural preserve featuring undeveloped woods & two creeks. Join us as we look for migrating and resident birds at this beautiful location. This can be a good location for viewing migrating fall warblers. We will explore 2 to 2.5 miles of trails. There are some wet and hilly areas so sturdy waterproof shoes are a must.

No prior knowledge of birds or birding is necessary to attend – beginners are always welcome, as are children if they are accompanied by an adult. Please bring binoculars if you have them. The leaders will have one pair to loan out.

McKaig Nature Education Center is located at 889 Croton Rd in Wayne PA. Parking is available at the Roberts Elementary School, where we will meet. The school is adjacent to the trailhead on Croton Road. There are no restrooms on site.
