Flocking Together at Valley Forge NHP (Cancelled)

Due to the rainy weather predicted for Sunday December 10, this event is cancelled.  We will reschedule in the new year.

It’s not only birds that like to flock together – bird watchers do, too!

Valley Forge Audubon Society is thrilled to partner with the In Color Birding Club, Wild Birds Unlimited – Collegeville, and the Valley Forge Park Alliance for a winter birding trip along the Betzwood Trail in Valley Forge NHP.   Don’t miss this chance to meet new people from different organizations as we share our common love of birds, birding, and our inclusive birding community.

Wild Birds Unlimited will be providing winter bird seed gifts to all participants.  In Color Birding Club and Valley Forge Audubon Society will have extra binoculars to loan out and will jointly provide our experienced trip leaders.  The permit for this group gathering in Valley Forge National Historical Park is provided through the Valley Forge Park Alliance.

During our outing we will travel along wide dirt and gravel trails for up to 3 hours.  Please bring binoculars if you have them and dress comfortably for the weather.  Restrooms are available at the Betzwood trailhead where we will meet. GPS:  40.109591, -75.421683;   4H5H+R8P

Please RSVP at incolorbirding.org/rsvp so that we know how many people to expect.
