Please be sure to choose the June 11th date to join our VFAS group.

Flying, nesting, feeding – there’s nothing quite like observing birds from a kayak. Don’t miss this unique birding adventure, fun for locals and visitors alike.

After a brief demonstration to review basic strokes and techniques for paddling a recreational kayak, L.L.Bean’s outdoor experts will take you on a leisurely paddle to look for birds as well as other wildlife and interesting plants.  Along the way you’ll learn more about bird identification, habits, and behavior from guide Patty Werth of the Valley Forge Audubon Society.

Come paddle with us and discover your inner birder.
