Last Day Hike
What better way is there to end the year than with a hearty hike? Join us on the Last Day of 2023 as we trek about 5 miles through field and woods and along the lakeshore at Green Lane Park.
Although the trails we will cover are relatively flat, they are earthen and in some spots will be uneven, narrow, and rocky. It is possible that the trails will also be icy and slippery – good footwear is a must. You may want to bring hiking poles if you have them. Bring water and a snack if desired. This hike is family- and dog-friendly (dogs must be leashed – for family members, it’s your call) but keep in mind this is a 5-mile hike, and we will be moving along at a steady pace.
To find us: We will meet at the Hemlock Point day use area (GPS coordinates: 40.34762, -75.48394 – enter across from the intersection of Gravel Pike and McLeans Station Rd) where there is a portable toilet available.
After the hike, feel free to join the leaders for some sustenance and camaraderie at the nearby Perkiomen Valley brewery.
