“May is For the Birds” Wilson Farm Park Bird Walk

May in PA is peak birding season and this beautiful park has the varied habitat guaranteed for great viewing of seasonal and year-round birds. Come join experienced guides from the Valley Forge Audubon Society for a 1-2 hour fun and low-key walk on the easy, paved 1+ mile trail. We will check out woods, ponds, and fields for the birds flying, nesting, raising their young, and yes, singing their hearts out.

Bring binoculars if you have them. Children are very welcome if accompanied by an adult. Bug spray, sunscreen, hat are recommended. No masks are required for outdoor programs, although VFAS encourages all participants to be fully vaccinated and asymptomatic to attend.

To find us easily: take Chesterbrook Blvd. to Lee Road. The park main entrance is at the end of Lee Road. As you come in the main entrance, turn left and follow the drive all the way down to the end, to the All Abilities Playground Area. We will meet there at the parking lot at 8:15 am. See you then!
