Migration Magic at Wilson Farm Park

Wilson Farm Park is an essential stopover for migratory birds as its fields, woods, and pond provide food and shelter in the middle of a very developed area, just a few miles down the street from King of Prussia Mall. Please join us for an early morning walk as we search for newly arriving migrants and those that are already beginning to nest in this oasis of green space in Tredyffrin Township.

Our outing will last about 2 hours and will cover a bit over a mile on an easy, accessible paved trail. New birders are encouraged to join us, and children are always welcome if accompanied by an adult. Bring your binoculars if you have them. Accessible restrooms are available on site.

Co-sponsored by Valley Forge Audubon Society and Tredyffrin Township.

Leaders: VFAS volunteers Lynn Sowden – PA Master Naturalist; Jim Ermer – VFAS Board member; and Connie Stevenson

Note: This park has multiple entrances. The park’s main entrance is at the end of Lee Road. As you come in the main entrance, turn left and follow the drive all the way down to the end to the All-Abilities Playground Area (GPS: 3GFW+C79).
