Native Plants Garden Tour at The Backyard Nature Preserve

Love birds?  At the Backyard Nature Preserve, we do too.  Join us for a tour of the Backyard Nature Preserve at Eden Ranch Nature Farm to see simple steps that we each can take to help support birds and “nurture nature” in our own yards.

During your visit you will see real-life native plant demonstration gardens and get advice on small changes you can make to help birds find the food and the protection they need.  Other on-site demonstrations include tips on gardening techniques and design, bird baths, winter water heaters for bird baths, bird-friendly window covers, predator-resistant bluebird houses, and hundreds of native plants for birds.

The Backyard Nature Preserve also has a native plant nursery, just in case you are inspired to add bird-friendly plants to your home after the tour (most plants are $7.50), and is an eBird hotspot, so please feel free to bring your binoculars along on this unique and informational outing.
