Photography Field Trip
If you have ever looked at the gorgeous photos that are featured on Valley Forge Audubon Society’s Facebook and Instagram feeds and have wondered “How do the photographers get those shots?” then this is the field trip for you. Some of those very same accomplished nature photographers and birders – Kayann, Rich, and Tony – will be sharing their knowledge about cameras, photographic techniques, composition, and more. Whether you have a new camera that confuses you, want to fine-tune your skills, or just want to take better pictures with your cell phone or point-and-shoot camera, come learn from these willing expert volunteers in a beautiful and friendly setting.
Beginning photographers are welcome and encouraged to join us. Be aware that the pace of this outing will be very slow as the focus (pun intended) of the trip will be photography rather than birding. The first part of our trip will be on an ADA-accessible trail.
In the case of inclement weather, which doesn’t go well with camera equipment, please check the VFAS website, Facebook and MeetUp pages for updates.
We will meet at the parking lot near the Great Barn and pond at the end of the park road. Restrooms are available by the barn.
