Plein Air Art Classes

Artists Danielle Greco and Lisa Strafford will be teaching a series of 6 Saturday morning classes on bird and botanical art, where participants can select their preferred medium (photography, watercolor, oil, acrylic, pencil, or pen) to interpret the world around them. Participants will explore the necessary techniques for composing a representative nature painting, practice their skills, and participate in socially distanced critiques. Due to COVID-19 and the restrictions on social distancing, all participants will provide their own supplies for their medium that they will bring to the classes. The instructors have provided a recommended supply list: https://valleyforgeaudubon.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Bird-and-Botanical-Painting-Class-Spring-2021.pdf.   All levels of experience are welcome.  Classes are limited to 20 people.

The artists will be contacting participants directly with an overview of what will be covered each week.

In case of inclement weather, the artists will make the determination whether to use the covered pavilion, re-schedule, or to do an on-line class/critique.

Participants can register for a single class or all 6 classes and work on one piece of art over the 6-week period. Add each class to your cart before checking out. The cost is $20 per class.
