Spring Bird Identification: Here They Come!

Spring is in the air!   Birds are returning to our area— and yes, to your yard – from their wintering grounds.  Though every season is great for bird watching, spring is one of the best.  This free in-person presentation will heighten your awareness of which species, all dressed in their bright spring finery, are migrating in, looking to attract mates and start families. We’ll also note which ones are leaving now, heading for other summer habitat. (Do you notice when they have disappeared for the season from your yard?)

We’ll cover types of migration, sharing an easy and interesting way to track what birds to watch for, and when, during this season. You’ll leave our time together with a good overview of the year-round feathered residents and seasonal species you are most likely to see in your yard and local parks in the spring and summer months.  Come enjoy the magic of birds with us.

No registration is required for this program – just show up and we’ll see you at there.
