Spring Migration at Palmer Park

Join us for a morning outing to this new eBird Hotspot. No eBird checklists have been posted for spring at this location, but we’ll hope to find arriving spring migrants like warblers, indigo buntings, swallows, gnatcatchers, and orioles in addition to our local resident birds. This will be a 1.5 to 2-mile loop on a flat paved trail. There may be some walking through flat grassy areas depending on what we see.

Children under 18 are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Bring binoculars if you have them. The leaders will have 2 pairs to loan out.

There are restrooms on site. We’ll meet at the Heckler Rd parking lot.  Note that the town may come up as Skippack on GPS.

Masks are not required for this outdoor program, although VFAS encourages all participants to be fully vaccinated and asymptomatic to attend.
