Spring Native Plant Sale

Are you looking to start a native plant garden and have no idea where to begin, or just want to add variety to what you already have?  On Sunday April 27, Valley Forge Audubon Society and Lower Providence Bird Town are sponsoring a native plant sale from noon to 2 pm. The event will be held at the pavilion in Eagleville Park in Lower Providence, which is behind the Township Building at 100 Parklane Drive in Eagleville.  Experienced native plant gardeners will be available to answer any of your questions and to recommend plants suitable for your space and habitat.

We will not be charging full price for these plants but will be asking for donations to support our VFAS outreach programs, which include getting native plants to as many people as possible. Cash or Venmo will be accepted.

Native plants will be provided by North Creek Nurseries for sun, shade, and edge habitat.  In addition, VFAS members will be sharing a variety of native plants from their own gardens. This year we also will have trees and shrubs.
