Summer Wednesdays at Binky Lee Preserve
Binky Lee Preserve, consisting of 112 acres of former agricultural land, has been owned and managed by Natural Lands since 1989 with the goal of converting it back to natural woodlands and meadows. A range of restoration techniques have been used and the habitat has been improved, allowing birds and other wildlife to thrive here. Come and enjoy a warm summer morning with volunteer guide Wendy Sykora on a birding meander around the preserve.
No prior knowledge of birds or birding is necessary to attend – beginners are always welcome, as are children if they are accompanied by an adult. Please bring binoculars if you have them. A hat and sunscreen are recommended, as are good walking shoes. A restroom is available at the parking area.
