The Great Backyard Bird Count: How to Participate and Bird ID for Beginners

Join us for this 2-part presentation. In the first part, we will go over the basics of how to participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count in your own yard or another birding location. The second part will be a class on bird ID for beginners. Learn how to identify common birds you can see during the GBBC including, but not limited to, finches, sparrows, thrushes, woodpeckers, chickadees, nuthatches, blackbirds, and hawks. If you can’t tell a sparrow from a finch this is the class for you!
