Third Tuesdays Birding at Black Rock Sanctuary
Get to know the birds of Black Rock Sanctuary!
Join us every third Tuesday January through March (and maybe beyond!) as we explore this Chester County Park’s fields, forests, and wetlands and watch as they, and the birds that frequent them, change with the seasons. We will look for winter residents in January and February, and maybe catch an early spring migrant or two in March.
Beginning birders are welcome and encouraged to join us on this and every field trip, as are children under 18 if accompanied by an adult. This guided walk will be along mostly paved or grassy and generally flat trails. Please bring binoculars if you have them. A portable restroom is on site.
Masks are not required for this outdoor program, although VFAS encourages all participants to be fully vaccinated and asymptomatic to attend.
