VFAS/Chester County Parks Birding Series: Black Rock Sanctuary Bird Walk

You must register for this event at: https://www.chesco.org/4608/Programs

This is the first in a series of monthly bird walks led by Valley Forge Audubon Society volunteers in Chester County parks.  The 119-acre Black Rock Sanctuary contains wetlands, forest, and fields that provide excellent birding opportunities, especially in spring when early migratory species arrive.  Beginning birders and children (accompanied by an adult) are welcome on this walk along mostly paved and generally flat trails.  Bring binoculars if you have them, and dress for the weather.  A portable restroom is on site.

Due to Covid, this event is limited to 20 participants
