VFAS/Chester County Parks Birding Series: Springton Manor Farm Bird Walk
Springton Manor Farm is the location for the fourth in the series of monthly bird walks being held in Chester County parks. Part farm and part preserve, this 300-acre park boasts many types of bird-friendly habitats, some of which contain centuries-old oak and maple trees, and is home to a thriving Purple Martin colony.
Beginning birders and children who are accompanied by an adult are most welcome on this walk on rolling natural surface trails. Bring binoculars if you have them, and wear sturdy shoes; a hat is also recommended. Meet at the Great Barn parking lot. Bathrooms are on site. If you are not vaccinated, we do ask that you wear a mask.
