Warblers and More at Rolling Hill Park

Rolling Hill Park in Lower Merion township is a great place to look for warblers in the summer: both Northern Parulas and American Redstarts have been found here during breeding season along with Common Yellowthroats, and last year a Kentucky Warbler was spotted in June.

This park is hilly, so be prepared for steep, uneven, and rocky trails that wander through established woods and open meadows.  Wear good hiking boots and bring binoculars.  Beginning birders and children who are accompanied by an adult are welcome.  Restrooms are available at the parking lot.
