“Wings Before Work” Fischer’s Park Bird Walk
At this gorgeous time of year, do you find yourself longing to be outdoors enjoying nature before settling down to work for the day? If so, this bird walk is for you! Come join an experienced guide from the Valley Forge Audubon Society for a 1-2 hour walk along Towamencin Creek and woods in this lovely and quiet park. We will start promptly at 7 am; you may stay the whole time, or leave whenever you need to. This park has easy access to main roads so you can pop back quickly to begin the rest of your day. And of course, if you are an “early bird” (ha ha) who just likes to be up and out early, you are very welcome too, even if you don’t have to get to work.
Bring binoculars if you have them. Bug spray and hat are recommended. Children are very welcome if accompanied by an adult, and beginners are always encouraged to join us. No masks rare equired for outdoor programs, although VFAS encourages all participants to be fully vaccinated and asymptomatic to attend. Meet in the parking lot. See you then!
