Winter Weekdays on the SRT

If concerns about travelling along slippery, muddy trails keep you from birding in the winter, we have a solution!  Join guide Wendy Sykora as she leads us on a birding exploration along a flat and paved section of the Schuylkill River trail near Phoenixville where we will search for the more than 70 species of birds that have been observed here during the winter months.

All ages and ability levels are welcome to join us.  This approximately 2-hour outing will cover no more than a mile out and back, and the paved trail allows for easy walking and can also accommodate those who have limited mobility or utilize a scooter, walker, or wheelchair.  Bring binoculars if you have them.  A portable restroom is available at the parking area.

If there has been recent snowfall and you are concerned about the condition of the trail, please email us at programs@valleyforgeaudubon.org for an update.
