We will walk along the lake toward the dam and see which spring woods flowers are still blooming. There will be an option to turn back through the fields for those wanting a shorter hike. We will then explore the biking trails in the area beyond the dam. Bring water and snacks. Bring lunch to eat afterward beside the lake or join a group at a nearby restaurant.
DIRECTIONS: From the Route 30 Bypass, exit at Route 282. Follow the signs onto Route 282 West. Stay on Route 282 until Lyndell Road. (Lyndell Post Office is on NE corner.) Turn right onto Lyndell Road and follow signs to the park. At the top of the hill you will see the lake to the east. Turn down the road to the west boat launch area. Restrooms available.
OR: From 282 South of Lyndell you may take Reeds Road east and follow signs as above.
