10:00 am: Hike @ Betzwood Section
May 2, 2019 –
This is a loop, mostly flat. We will head out on the paved bike trail toward Pawlings Road, then take a wooded trail past the old Wetherill Barn and return via the Betzwood trail along the Schuylkill river. Hopefully, the bluebells will be in bloom.
DIRECTIONS: Take Route 422 west to Route 363. Take the exit for 363 north and immediately bear left onto Trooper Road south. Cross over Route 422 and drive back toward the river. Take the second road on the right into Betzwood Park. Park in the picnic area near the restrooms.

8:00 am: Nature Walk @ Meng Preserve
May 4, 2019 –
Join us for an early morning bird walk as we explore the Stone Hill Greenway in Lower Frederick Township. This walk is at the beginning of the spring migration. The goal is to intercept neo-tropical local breeding birds as well as those that are just passing through to regions further north. Dress for the weather and bring your binoculars and ID books.
